Amedia Group has been established to meet the growing demand in the Iraqi market for various types of international brands due to the economic growth and the increase in the Iraqi per capita income in the last years. Our company is a group of enterprises led by four core companies: Farabi Pharma, Mukhtar Pharma, Razi Pharma and Amedia Company for General Trading. Time has changed since the establishment. We need to be flexible and innovative and to move forward all the time. Our mission is that we build “trust” between our partners by high quality services and products.

Therefore, we will be strengthening our efforts to provide and develop more satisfying, environmentally friendly and enhanced valued products and services to our customers and society. We will make ceaseless efforts to improve ourselves by offering superior quality, pricing, business ethics, and performance at every level. 

We at Amedia Group are on a successful journey to build a stronger Group by repositioning our business. We are focusing more on premium and professional segments, while pivoting our offering to become even more sustainable, affordable and connected. Over time this has resulted in a better business composition with higher growth and margins.

The roots of Amedia Group can be traced back to 2004, when our subsidiary Al-Farabi began life as a pharmaceutical products wholesaler in Baghdad. Since then, we have continued to challenge ourselves as a well-known domestic pharmaceutical trading company to respond to the changing needs and demands of our clients and the market. To do this, we have continued to provide pharmaceuticals, vitamins, food supplements, herbal and cosmetic products as well.

Amedia Group, a multi-disciplinary Group of Companies, has proven itself to be a dynamic and progressive enterprise, positioning itself since the beginning as one of the leading groups since the inception of its first company in 2004. As a result of our prudent approach, we have grown steadily and remained resilient with our companies despite challenging market conditions.

Building on our success, we look forward to a new era of growth as we develop businesses locally. Furthermore, we will continue to pursue new opportunities that maximize value creation for our stakeholders.
